Spray Drying

Spray Drying:
Spray drying is a technique used to convert either solutions or free-flowing slurries, into powder particles having specific characteristics. There is a wide variety of spray dryers and their configurations offered by our company. Our spray dryers are unique and become increasingly popular due to their easy to use control panel, temperature accuracy, and drying effectiveness. Our Models DL410 & ADL-Series efficiently and reliably dry and transform liquid solution, suspension, or emulsion into a uniform, fine amorphous powder.
Spray Dryer Applications:

  • Chemical and material science
  • Pharmaceuticals (antibiotics, medical ingredients, additives)
  • Food and beverage (milk powder, coffee, tea, eggs, cereal, spices, flavorings, starch and starch derivatives, vitamins, enzymes, stevia, colourings, protein, hormone, serum, fragrant materials, essences, etc.)
  • Cosmetics and fragrances
  • Industrial: paint pigments, ceramic materials, catalyst supports, microalgae
  • Organic chemistry: wax, cleaning agent, surface acting agent, agricultural chemical, antiseptic agent, synthesized resin, pigments, etc.
  • Inorganic chemistry: ferrite, ceramics, photocopy toner, magnetic tape materials, photosensitive materials, various industrial chemicals, waste fluid of samples, etc.

DL-410
Large Capacity Spray Dryer

The DL-410 is a larger spray dryer that does not require the liquid sample or solution to undergo any pre- or post-processes such as filtration, separation, or pulverization. The use of organic solvents is fully supported with the attachment of GAS-410 organic solvent recovery unit. Small, expensive and/or heat sensitive samples can be dried quickly and efficiently with this easy-to-operate system.
